Cheryl Walker: Director of Non Profit Programs - Senior Consultant and Coach Cheryl brings over twenty years of experience as a small business owner and educator into her work as a consultant, facilitator and coach. Her works includes leadership effectiveness, communication skills, team building, conflict resolution, diversity, change management, and transitional strategies. Cheryl has a Masters of Leadership from Georgetown University School of Business and holds a Master Certified Coach (MCC) certification from the International Coach Federation.

Utilizing a positive, growth-oriented approach, Cheryl helps clients make sustainable change both at the individual and organizational level in ways that impact the bottom line of their organizations. Her clients state that they have been challenged supported, inspired and more able to see new perspectives and take on new endeavors as a result of their work with Cheryl.

Her clients include corporate, non -profit, and government organizations including: Accenture, Capitol One, Howard County Public Schools, Howard County General Hospital, USDA, City of Hyattsville, George Mason University, Johns Hopkins University among others.

Prior to becoming a full time coach, consultant and facilitator, Cheryl was Dean of Students at the Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts, the preeminent center in the Washington DC area for graduate education in complimentary medicine.

Cheryl, a native New Yorker, lives in the Washington DC area with her husband of 34 year, Harry. They have three adult daughters and now are enjoying the rewards of grandparenthood with their one year old grandson. Nearly everything Cheryl has learned about being a successful leader has been learned through the joys and challenges of married life and raising a family.
